"Count It All Joy"
The Lord wants us to remember as we are walking through a season of pain and suffering that it will not last forever and it is not pointless. God always has a purpose and we can count all things joy because He is working in all circumstances, even the most painful. His heart for us is always good and we must hold onto this truth and focus our eyes on Him and not on the circumstances. As we come out of this season we will have a greater trust in Him, our faith will be stronger and we won’t be as easily swayed by our circumstances in the future.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1: 2 – 4
Definition of steadfast: firmly fixed in place; immovable; not subject to change; firm in belief, determination, or adherence; loyal.
